Earlier this week, Larry Grant, our Manager of Manufacturing Process here at TalentStream, was invited to tour the Miura America Plant in Rockmart, Georgia.  Miura America is the worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of energy-efficient, eco-friendly industrial steam boilers.

Miura Co. Ltd was founded in Japan in 1927. A sales and services division, Miura North America, was formed in 1990, with the manufacturing plant, Miura Manufacturing, opening in 2009 in Rockmart. Then last year, Miura North America and Miura Manufacturing merged to form Miura America.

Larry said, “I enjoyed the open house at Miura yesterday where they showed the group the new showroom and training center. It was very impressive to see and learn more about how boilers are made and operate.”  He went on to say, “I have toured many facilities during my career, and Mr. Tate Nagafuchi and his team have shown an interest in plant safety like no other facility I have been in.  It is great to see a company that cares so deeply for its employees.”

The Rockmart Miura Plant has gone 1967 hours without a lost time accident.

Thank you to the Miura America Plant and their team for hosting a wonderful plant tour.  Find out more about Miura America here.
