ACCOUNTANT
Calhoun, GA

The Accountant is highly organized and self-driven person who executes on the established accounting policies and procedures of the organization. This includes preparing, posting, and reconciling journal entries in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The accountant is primarily focused on accounts payables and accounts receivables activities and supports with insurance, payroll, tax and intercompany topics as they arise. This role is encouraged to identify and report potential weakness in the company’s financial control systems to drive improvements.

To be considered for the Accountant position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

    Required:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2-3 years Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, month end close, bank reconciliation, journal entries

• Manufacturing experience required. Automotive or textile experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

• Experience with accounting and taxation regulations

• Strong written and spoken English language skills are required

• Technology savvy and experience with an integrated ERP system required
