Candidate 14DE:
- Candidate 14DE graduated in 2011 with dual degrees in EE and Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
- He has experience in PM and PLC troubleshooting, also contract work with traffic controls systems company performing very hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and repair work.
- He also worked with an organization manufacturing low power, high-frequency motors, and worked in the full product development life cycle. Because he worked with a very small team of engineers, he got to do a bit of everything.
- He was the sole developer of a universal driver board for their demonstration units that showed how the motors accept signals, the power output, and the feedback control.
- The board had an embedded system in it. He wrote the firmware for the microcontroller. Before he left, they had an order for 500 boards.
- Because they were small, he was able to engage with some of their customers directly.
