The FACILITIES MANAGER is responsible for maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance and performance management to ensure that measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction, and effective staff performance are achieved. This position will review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. This position is responsible for ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
To be considered for the Facilities Manager position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a facility manager or equivalent related functions
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
- Computer Skills:
o Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook,
o Experience with CMMS or ERP software a plus.
